Having the same issue. The provided url of scalermusic . com / redeem does not have a field to enter a username. After filling out the required fields, no email was received (attempted twice). I checked inbox and spam folders. I just attempted creating an account here forum. scalermusic. com, which allowed me to create a username, but that only seems to be a login to the forums. Seems to be something overlooked on Scaler’s side or their outgoing email service is not working. How can we create an account???
Edit: Also tried on mobile (android) and still no luck.
2nd Edit: I finally got it. I opened the account creation page in an incognito window and it finally sent me an email. Must have something to do with web cache. If you’re having this issue, try clearing your cache or try an incognito/private window as it also accesses the page without using your cache. You’ll know it’s successful when just after registering, it says “You can redeem your code now by following the link below.” Hope that helps!
Same problem on a PC. I can create and account for the forum but not for the site - which is needed to register the purchase. This needs to be fixed ASAP since the requirement of a Scalar account is new - I would have hoped this would have been fixed by now. The cyclic nature of the link - and the fact that you cannot contact support without an account boggles me.!
UPDATE
I tried again and I was able to make an account and receive the confirmation email and successfully enter my Serial/Redeem code into the ScalerMusic webiste.
I will note that previously, I didn’t accept all cookies(I think I may have only accept “essentials”) not sure if that mattered at all or not but figured I’d mention it.
You should now be able to access the site without any issues. Our support team have tried to contact anyone that had created an account successfully and weren’t able to get in. Sincere apologies. It was all the result of a short outage on our site which had a lingering effect.
Just managed to activate by re-registering using the same details as I originally inputted. Cut and paste the redemption code into the Scaler website, then get a serial number. Start your DAW, open a new project with Scaler 3 as the instrument. Cut and past the serial number from the Scaler website into Scaler when it opens and you’re good to go. Possible the most convoluted process to activate an upgrade (not new software) I have come across. I think Scaler need to review their processes (and considered capacity) for future upgrades.
I totally get there have been frustrations and we made a mistake with the dropbox link and last nights site going down due to excessive demand which caused this thread and I am sorry for that. I hope we are through the teething issues of getting Scaler 3 to our users.
Getting a redeem code and going to a site to register and then getting a serial number to activate my product is what I do when I buy from third party sites. That’s pretty standard for me. If you buy direct from Scaler Music that redeem code activation is negated.
Not trying to be defensive but I think the actual process is fairly routine.

David, I would happily have purchased directly from you guys but could not find any way to buy an upgrade from version 2 which I purchased via PlugIn Boutique to version 3 on your site. Might be there, but I could not find it.

Can someone from scaler please help me get Scaler 3 activated?
I’ve not been successful in getting an account activation email from Scaler despite trying 5 different browsers, trying incognito mode, clearing out the cache, disabling ad blockers, using my tablet, phone and PC etc, etc.
I got an activation email for this forum within seconds of completing registration so it’s not anything my end causing this issue.
I’ve been backwards and forwards with Plugin Boutique support and they haven’t been much help so far.

did they ever get back to you? I am having difficulty registering with the code that I was given, I bought scaler 3 from PB and redeemed it with the code they gave me here and got the same serial number without redeem- in it, when I paste it into the registration box in the vst it just says “Couldn’t Activate Licence: Could not connect to activation server This is a Trial Version of scaler 3, you have 2 days remaining” I have tried getting in contact with PB and Scalermusic but they just tell me the same thing and blew me off
