I do not see much sense in using MAin Track with Scaler Plugin as a VST in a Daw. While Playback the offset in the song and the chords are never in sync (Cubase Pro). I would prefer to work inside a daw without Main Track. The only use for me in a Daw is to use the chord suggestions. It would be much easier to use if i could use chord suggestions without Main Track. So i have to use Chord Suggestions with the main Track , export the main track chords to user chords so that i can use them then free while playing synchron to the track in the daw. This was much easier and faster in Scaler 2.
Same here. I now use Scaler 3 only for chord suggestions and as a pattern machine. I work with the chord track of Cubase, let Scaler 3 play these chords with some motion, sequences or arpeggios and record the resulting audio or midi back in the DAW. That works and is fine for me. I don’t need Scaler as another DAW.
Hi all. I think you will be pleased with Scaler 3.4 later this year. As will many of our existing Scaler 1/2 users. It’s an overhaul of the Suggest Page which gives you access to everything right there - plus the ability to use an 8 block Sketch lane on the main page and little reason to go elsewhere in S3! Work in progress but it’s looking great!
