Hello, I’m sure there’s a way of doing this but my biggest problem, I’d like to use Scaler 3 and use all of its functions and tracks in the arrange mode so that means the Daw sync needs to be on when I record a midi track with Ableton. When I hit the sink button or the play button on Ableton, it triggers to start on Scaler 3, which will trigger each Chord regardless of what midi I’ve recorded in Ableton. So I have these car wrecks, one, the midi and and scaler triggering one bar cords will not work. Is there any kind of workaround, where when you hit the play button on my Ableton, it will not re-triggered the main track every bar and will just trigger the midi?
in other words, is there any other way to disconnect the play button on the main track so it won’t be triggered by the DAW sync In the arrange tab?
Hi @jiacooper Yes you are referring to very basic functionality there which is covered in the manual and on our tutorial videos I highly recommend you watch through. Right click on the play button to deactivate DAW sync. There’s also a Working with your DAW video which is helpful to you.
Thanks, for the reply, I knew it was something simple.Wow, On the right side I see the way I can controll the size of the chords. right before my eyes lol!
