Scaler 3 is fantastic. However, I think it still could be a lot easier to develop your ideas if it had a few more daw capabilities. I love the Keys Lock „Chord Scales“ function. But I would like to use a different sound and volume for my melody than for the chords in the main track to get more contrast and hear the melody better. Realtime would be nice, but probably more difficult to integrate. It would already help a lot to have more tracks that can be armed and played via keyboard and sync to the chords of the main track, but also offer Key Lock etc. It is great to have all these patterns, but why is it not possible to play the bass or melody myself? And how do I record the melody I came up with playing the main track and using Keys Lock Chord Scales?
I use a Chord Follow track for this. So put a different instrument on it. One the main train use the mute chords option in setting or shift click the chords to mute the. Play your melody separately to your chords! Recording them on to a user track is coming soon.
