Scaler 3 Crashing In Standalone Mode and as plugin in Pro Tools

Hello Scaler 3 has been crashing non-stop when working in standalone mode and as a plugin within Pro Tools. This is happening mostly in arrange mode I’ve noticed. Any luck with this would be helpful as it’s been impossible to use continuously in a workflow. Thanks!

Here are my specs:
MacBoo Pro
Apple M3 Max
128 GB
Sonoma 14.7.4

Hi @leonardg Can you please try deleting the settings file. That will help with your standalone. Follow these instructions at the bottom of the page. If you are still experiencing crashes in Pro Tools would you please send us a crash report?

Thanks again @davide The crash is still occurring in Pro Tools. Where I’ve noticed it most frequently is when I try to drag a series of chords on a track on the arrange page into my DAW. I’ve also noticed the “bypass” button isn’t working. I can still hear sounds out of the instrument when bypassed. I’m happy to send a crash report. Would you be able to tell me where that’s located? Thanks!

How to Find Crash Reports on macOS (via Console)
  • Open Console
    Press Cmd + Space, type “Console”, and hit Enter.
  • In the sidebar , go to “Crash Reports”
  • Look for a file with the name of the app that crashed (e.g. Bitwig_2025-04-08-123456.crash).
  • You can either: click the Share button to export the file, or just *copy the text and paste it into a .txt file (or directly into your message if it’s short)
