First midi note doesn't trigger Scaler 3 with DAW sync enabled

If I have a 4 bar midi element in Reaper with 1 midi note at the start of each bar to trigger a chord in Scaler to play a separate VST synth (Not from Scaler itself), the first note does not trigger anything in Scaler 3. If I turn Scaler 3 off, the first note triggers the midi note as normal. If I replace Scaler 3 with Scaler 2 it triggers the chord as normal, so its only an issue with scaler 3.

I’m also having this issue in Reaper. First note in a loop won’t play

Hi folks. @foxrobinson909 @Dr.Gunjah apologies for not replying to this thread earlier.

This issue usually occurs when chords in Scaler 3 are being manually triggered by MIDI notes from the host DAW, whilst Scaler’s DAW sync mode is enabled. in DAW sync mode, Scaler 3 is automatically trying to play the main track chords whenever the DAW starts playing, and if it is also receiving a chord trigger note via MIDI this can create a conflict.

Can you please try disabling DAW sync mode either via the settings window, or by right clicking on the play button at the top of the Scaler 3 interface and letting us know if the issue persists?

Hi Tristan, yes that was the issue for me and disabling DAW sync fixed it. Maybe you could code it so that when there are no notes in the main track, even if DAW sync is enabled, it wont conflict.
