I am having an issue with installing 3.107 on my Windows 11 laptop. I had no issue with installing it on my Windows 10 desktop.
It seems that it cannot use the TEMP file. I checked permissions on the file (full control), available space is not an issue. I also cleared out the TEMP file as well. Running as Administrator makes no difference other than it gets to the prompt to install, whereas running it not as Administrator give the error immediately when running the program.
Is anyone else having such issues? I suspect it is some local issue but thought I would double check since my troubleshooting so far has not resulted in progress.
There’s a known issue that affects some Windows users during installation, and it sounds like your situation might be related.
Do you have OneDrive enabled on your system? If so, please try temporarily disabling OneDrive and then run the installer again – ideally as Administrator.
Additionally, this support article has helped other Windows users who experienced similar installation problems – it may be worth a look if the above doesn’t resolve it.
