Bass follower track

Hi All

Can anyone please remind me how to change the pattern ( bass ), I’m selecting a different articulation, but the pattern isn’t changing?

So far 3.1 s stable!!

I think (maybe) you have to split the track into separate pieces, then you can manipulate it that way. See Tristan’s video - https://youtu.be/aFwAWbGhiX0?si=bvmO6I9sKYCLh76w

the selector seems to be missing, idem for melody…

As far as I know, this is not possible. You have to delete the track and create a new track with a new movement.

Is this a regression? Adding the selection between scale and chords on the base removed the ability to change patern.

I no longer see the Articulation Bass Follow or CHord Follow movement options in the Scaler 3 VST, Scaler 3 (VST3) and Scaler 3 standalone. I’m pretty sure I used it yesterday but I could be wrong. BTW it worked very nicely (I think). I see them listed when adding a new track but not on an existing track. Is this a bug or operator error.?

DAW: Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio
OS: Win 11
Scaler 3: Scaler 3.1

Hi all. Unfortunately a bug with the Motion Selector was introduced in 3.1. The Selector is available for Articulations, as well as Rhythms and Performances, but not for most Expressions. We’re investigating this and have added it to the list of known issues.

Workaround for now:
Split the clip – subsequent clips will display the selector, which you can then extend as needed.

Cheers.
