Hi @Rollasoc We are working very hard on Carbon Electra 2. It’s a big step forward in synthesis as a whole and we excited to share some very unique surprises including VST3 of course. Q2, 2026.

If we purchased the original Carbon Electra from PluginBoutique will we be able to upgrade and register our upgrade license for Carbon Electra 2 with the Scaler Music site? Thanks for a reply.
Hey @Boywonder77 Of course. We haven’t any official release dates, pricing, upgrades etc as yet but we are working hard on CE2 and it’s extremely exciting.
I just bought Scaler 3.2 with Carbon Electra directly through Scaler music website.
I was so excited to use Carbon Electra as It is a great plugin but I was disappointed that it is not 64bit.
it does not work with my Cubase Pro 15 on MaOS Tahoe
Scaler is really a powerful tool, even more powerful than my EZkey 2, and so will be carbon Electra when comes out as VST3
Hopefully I will receive the upgrade

Hi @Adelfried Welcome to the community. Ah yes we love Carbon Electra and we are happy you do to. We are enjoying working on Carbon Electra 2. It’s a major overhaul and all together new, powerful synth. There will be a very reasonable upgrade cost on release later this year. More details when we have them.
