Big fan of all of your sw. I own it all except today’s CE2 release. I purchased OG CE from plugin boutique as back then it was the only place you could grab it to my knowledge.
Currently, CE2 isn’t available on PB.com and I have no way to redeem the upgrade offer ($39) directly from Scaler Music since I purchased it over there.
I’m assuming CE2 will soon propagate on PB but I’d much prefer to purchase it here. Is it possible that users/members can get a promo code with proof of purchase of the original at PB.com? I would very much prefer to have all future ScalerMusic licenses in one place. I understand that there is currently no way to migrate my DC Snares, CE, Scaler 2, EQ licenses over but I’d like future licenses to live here.
Please consider some kind of solution that addresses this for dedicated users like myself. Having to login over on PB.com for offers and updates is very annoying at this point.
Hi @KingMidas, PIB will have the update up very soon. I know they are getting it all ready now. As we had released it originally only through PIB, we have no way of verifying those purchases, so you will need to purchase the upgrade at your original place of purchase. Once you have done that, your copy of Carbon Electra 2 will be registered over at Scaler Music, where you will be able to download updates in the future. Hope that helps and hope you enjoy CE2.
As always, your immediate attention is greatly appreciated @davide I’ll sit tight and wait on PB. It’s your fault. Having missed the beta, seeing your recent CE2 teaser had me wanting to dive into it as soon as possible.
I’m greatly looking forward to seeing if/how I can control CE2 with Roland AE wind controller to take advantage of the new scale/chord features.
On a related note, is it possible for you to see that I’ve registered DC Snares and activate my license to Scaler Music for future updates? Finally, a vote for DC snares on iPad platform.

I’ll DM Tristan about DC thanks again. CE2 for iPad sounds like a plan! Also, really hoping things go well in your talks with Akai. The platform is exploding right now and the users aren’t as cheap as iPad users are lol. Looking forward to deeper integrations like Ableton Link but I also think all of the Scaler sw would go platinum as plugins on MPC.
