As the title says, I’m trying to download from my account (Mac Installer) but Dropbox has put a hold on downloads due to too many requests.
Any chance you can pay Dropbox for a little more bandwidth so I can then grab my purchase…?!
Nice 1!

Same. Who uses dropbox to distribute a product lol. When you click learn more it says try downloading the file again in 24 hours.
Me 4 – no indication of when the bandwidth might reset either.
Yup… me too.
I noticed some people downloaded directly from Plugin Boutique earlier. Now it’s redirecting to Scaler Music.
My guess is the switchover didn’t quite work as planned.
No surprise given the interest in this great product. I think we just have to be patient.
Wow, OK, maybe not me… but can someone tell me the steps exactly… I bought both the Scaler 2 and Scaler 3 combo deal, downloaded and installed Scaler 2 before 3 was out… and now I’m not sure what to do or download because Scaler 3 shows up in 2 places… in the Scaler 2 + Scaler 3 and Scaler 3 by itself. I was thinking either or… but now with “too many requests” oh my… thought it was me! So glad to see this pop up in the forum!
My issue was complicated for me because I originally bought Scaler 2 from Plug In Boutique… but when I saw the special on Scaler Music… I dumped the Plug in boutique Scaler 2 and am going full hog on Scaler Music for that price… I hate the platform on PiB. Ugh… Anyway. I installed the Scaler 2 from Scaler Music… but thought I messed up when my computer said the Scaler 2 was from Plug In Boutique… so I removed it and made sure I had the Scaler 2 license from Scaler Music… and installed again… (Of course my problems are compounded by Microsoft Controlled folder access) but I’ve lived with that for a few years now… and installed no problem. But, now, how to get Scaler 3 on my machine. Plus, I’m also having to install my freebie DAW Cakewalk too because apparently it wouldn’t upgrade since I last used one too old… ugh…
I guess it’s wait and see… I can wait… but am excited!
I think we’re all learning that too many requests doesn’t mean (I) you made too many requests… but everyone is making too many requests. lol Not funny, but then… hiccups! (burp) it happens. I also don’t know if it’s pay them more… we might be blowing up Dropbox… lol as in wrong platform to release such a popular and amazing product!
I have had this as well just now. I sent in a support ticket. I was surprised Scaler was using Dropbox.
I too sent in a support ticket but because I don’t know what order to do things. The checklist before creating a ticket listed what to do with plug in boutique, but didn’t way how to handle it here… then when I was unable to download… well… where does one go from there? At the time, I thought I was the one messing up with too many downloads… lol
Yup, I’m getting it too…
It seems like they’ve enabled direct downloads from Plugin Boutique now, I was just able to grab it there.
Yep, nice, finally I can grab it lol… thanks for the update!
On the dropbox support page: “You should receive an email with instructions on how to address the issue.”
Scaler, please check your email
So eager to try scaler 3
How do you directly download from Plugin Boutique? I’ve never purchased or created an account using Plugin Boutique
Well spotted. This has sorted my issue with a direct download now from PB. Cheers for the update!
All sorted for me now. I wasn’t sure I had activated the software as the activation screen didn’t disappear, but it seems I did. At least I think I did
figured it out download the trial version from plugin boutique. let it install. open scaler either in the daw or standalone. enter the serial form scaler music website and click activate. it should tell you to restart and then you are done.
Should have used google drive rip
Can you do this if you bought it on scaler music.com?
Same here… can’t download, too many requests
