Trigger Play Start to Timecode

I am working on a score for a documentary with Scaler 3 in Nuendo 12.
I would like to start playing the Main Track at a given timecode of the Nuendo timeline in order to work with suggestions and all other features of Scaler 3 while seeing the video and hearing the narration in sync.
How do I trigger Scaler 3 to start playing at a given timecode of the timeline?

Thanks, Udo

Hey @vivoices Thanks for joining the forum. The greatest oversight on our behalf was to lock the zoom to the current chord. That’s not clever when you want to start working on a measure later in the track. Scaler 3.1 will allow a free scroll to mitigate this. For your scenario I suggest you just work within the Scaler 3 Loop Region whilst remaining in DAW sync so irrespective of where you are it will start there and in the correct position of the loop.
Maybe this may help?

Thanks @davide that may be a temporary solution, even though I do not intend for Scaler to loop at the end of the main track.
The documentary calls for three musical themes relating to the content and mood. The themes develop according to the progression of the story.

So the ideal solution would be to have an instance of Scaler for each part of the documentary that needs to start with a variation of its dedicated theme and have the DAW trigger the play start of any given Scaler instance at a precise timecode of Nuendo’s timeline. The Scaler instance then play it’s music and does not loop at the end.

You could add a rest at the start (click Suggest Mode and drag the rest to the main track) and lengthen it to the measure you want to start at.
This will all be much easier in 3.1 as there will be a free scroll and not a zoomed to current content so you can scroll to wherever and start working. Hope that makes sense. Ohh and 3.1 is due soon, been a delay but hoping a week or two.
