Hi team,
I’m a huge fan of Scaler 3 — it’s been a game changer in how I approach harmony and chord progressions as someone who doesn’t have a traditional piano background.
I’ve recently added Ableton Push 3 to my setup and noticed how beautifully these two tools can complement each other. Scaler handles the harmonic foundation, and Push — in scale mode — becomes a tactile way to explore and jam within that framework.
Would you consider creating a short video or tutorial showing how Scaler 3 can be used alongside Push 3? I think a lot of users (like me) who aren’t classically trained would really benefit from seeing how these two can work together — especially within Ableton Live.
Would love to hear your thoughts on whether you see this as a good workflow for many Scaler users! My friend told me, if anything, Push 3 is a gateway that increases the need for tools like Scaler because many/most Push 3 users are producers who are NOT classically trained musicians. So they’ll hit limits with the “Scale” button on Push 3 and start searching for tools to deepen their harmonic ideas. Maybe that’s where Scaler 3 comes in. It can let Push users go from just playing in key to composing and arranging like a pro.
Thanks again for building such an inspiring tool.
