I installed scaler 3.1.3 and I launched a full scan of my plugins. If I subsequently install new plugins, do I have to do a full scan each time or is there a solution like in Reaper for example to scan only the new plugins and keep all those that had already been scanned?

Thanks for mentioning the excellent exemple - Reaper. I use this DAW myself and I must admit that there are two features that i would like to see in Scaler.
The first is the one that you mentioned: Scan for new plugins. This is warp speed scan that takes just a second or two.
The other one is the possibility to enter ALL paths where the user put his plugins, not only in “standard” folders, but really everywhere where they can be stored. The user enters this list of folders and Reaper searches inside:
If this option existed in Scaler, the user could be sure that all plugins in Reaper/DAW would be found in Scaler, too.
Just look at my example:

Another excellent feature in Reaper is that if there are multiple VST with the same name, “…only one will be available: either the plugin found later in the path list, or highest in the directory structure for a given path”.
This would avoid the cases as I see in Scaler 3 (and I have no idea where the duplicates are, but it frustrates me):
Why some of them are displayed only once (Addictive Drums), while the othere are two times?
Just a tip: there is a hidden option in Reaper: if the user doesn’t want to display any plugin in teh list of scanned plugins, he can just precede its name by a hash sign (#) and it will become hidden.

Merci pour ta réponse mais si je comprends bien, pour l’instant il n’existe pas de solutions équivalent à Reaper “Scan for New Plugin” dans Scaler 3, ce qui est très frustrant d’autant que Scale met beaucoup de temps à scanner.
concernant la possibilité d’ajouter des chemins d’accès, c’est une question que j’avais posé à Scaler music dès la sortie de Scaler 3 et maintenant on peut rajouter de mémoire 3 chemins d’accès supplémentaires pour les plugin (en dehors des chemins natifs de Scaler) mais pas plus pour l’instant.
Puisque tu utilises Reaper, j’ai une question à laquelle je n’arrive pas à trouver de réponse ; J’aimerais réorganiser ma liste de Plugins dans l’explorateur de plugin de Reaper mais je ne sais pas comment accéder au fichier correspondant (Add FX), si tu as une idée je suis preneur.

Concernant ta deuxième question, je ne sais pas où chercher un tel fichier
Je crée mes propres répertoires dans l’interface, par exemple Favoris , Effets guitare , Batterie, Basse , Orchestre, etc. et je glisse des plugins à partir de la liste principale, ou des répertoires des développeurs.
Oui c’est ce que je fais aussi mais c’est pas propre, j’aurais aimé pouvoir réorganiser les folders mais bon on fait avec avec.
