Scaler 3 VST3 - added to Cubase blocklist after upgrade to Scaler 3.2

So, I’m working in Cubase using Scaler 3 . . . and I noticed there is an update to Scaler 3.2 . . . I close Cubase and run the install successfully, then try to open Cubase 15, and it says no license available ? After I close the Scaler website, Cubase does open, but it immediately adds Scaler to the plugin blocklist . . . if I try to reactivate Scaler 3, it warns about possible system instability.

I’m thinking the new Scaler 3.2 programming has broken some serious Cubase rules, anybody else run into this here ?

Hi @popitup yes this has been reported by others using Cubase on Windows 11 since Scaler v3.1.2. and is currently being investigated by the dev team. Most users are able to simply reactivate the plugin without any issue. Otherwise we’ve found that uninstalling then reinstalling Scaler 3 resolves the issue, however other users have posted solutions in the following thread: Cubase 14 Pro puts Scaler 3.1.2 on a VST Blocklist - #20 by lee
