Playing the DIGITONE II via Scaler 3 in Bitwig
Does anyone know how to do this? Sometimes the smaller the change the greater the effect, or the more noticeable it is at least. This is techno. Hypnotising crowds with small changes. It’s like the opposite of a grand dramatic orchestra swinging from high to low
And just like that I was using Scaler 3 to play the Serum 2 synthesizer in Bitwig
But of course then came the much dreaded question - what setting to put Scaler 3 on
I am only seeking to make simple basslines and matching melodies for techno production @Tristan using a small and compact minilab 3 controller - I dont want to reinvent the wheel, I just want to use scaler 3 as a non musician in a way that maximizes its capacity at a Low level so to speak? What setting would you suggest? I have studied the manual to try answer this question but I am still none the wiser
I also noted LOOPCLOUD and SPLICE are both trying to sell midi blocs to users. I remember Scaler 3 comes jam packed with MIDI presets however, and they are probably fairly musically sophisticated I am guessing. Once I have dragged a bunch of A major notes onto the main track as above @Tristan - whats the most elegant (for me that means fastest/easiest) way to get some of Scaler 3s MIDI into my daw? So I can hear the Serum 2 synthesizer playing some of Scaler 3s midi? I am trying to “simply” use Scaler 3 as a MIDI bank so to speak. I dont want to get more advanced than that at the moment
