Can I have scaler 2 and 3 installed simultaneously, or does 3 overwrite 2?

Yes Scaler 2 and 3 can be installed simultaneously. You can use both same time too.

Having issues with Scaler 3, constant crashing when using 3rd party instruments but can’t wait to see what it has when it’s running more smoothly
I have Scaler 2 installed from before and installed Scaler 3 a few hours ago. It installs as a totally separate setup without overwriting Scaler 2. No problem.

Congratulations to Davide and everyone who has been part of creating Scaler 3. I downloaded and installed it a few hours ago, and so far I’ve had great fun playing around with it. Great work guys. I love it.

You and the team did a great job.
Due the Scaler 3 preview videos on Youtube, the switch from 2.x to 3.0 was not that difficult.
I al ready spent several hours with all the combinations and sounds.
They form new inspirations on playing on my Yamaha Genos 2
I had some CTD’s in the standalone version in combination with external plugins from Native and Steinberg.
Think they will be adressed after some time.
Wish you luck with all the reactions of users with problems.
