I am a satisfied Scaler 2 user thinking of upgrading to version 3.
If I do so can I keep version 2 still active (separate installs) or does the upgrade to 3 “erase” version 2?

Being totally independent, the 2 versions can coexist !

Yep, they are completely separate. You can even load the Scaler 2 plugin in Scaler 3, not that I can think of a use for that…
