Currently, if I understand correctly, Scale selection and Motion selection are essentially global choices.
While keeping that as an option, why not have Scale selection and Motion selection be per-chord settings?
This would allow extreme flexibility in using the new multi-track arrangement capabilities to realize sophisticated song-length performances from Scaler.

You can split a clip with the scissors tool and change the motion of each clip to anything else of the same type of motion. If you want different motion types on one track you have to create another track with the new motion type, cut out a section and paste it into the first track then delete all the extra stuff. So it’s a bit of a pain but it is doable. Hopefully they’ll give us a cleaner way to do it in a future update.
