Other 2 oddities of SC3

I want to edit a chord: I right-click and click on Edit

SC3 brings me here, but the chord to be edited is not highlighted

OK, my brain is not still melted by AI, so I remember what chord I want to edit, but think to a long series of chords, maybe not usual ones, with many of them out of view… :grimacing:

The other oddity can be useful sometimes instead, but only if you are a fan of Stockhausen, and I am not :scream:

If you loop the chords in the main page, you can also hit Play on the other 2 sections and all them play at the same time, but not synced

Another series…

I hate edit, so I never do that , but let us suppose that I want to move some blue thing; while SC3 plays the chords I have no clue of the place to touch below :face_with_spiral_eyes:

If I touch the blue thing first instead, I see the patterns above that move

The other oddity is that I if I lasso 2 red things, I cannot move them left or right with the left and right arrow, but I can do that by D&D

I dedicate this series of oddities to David Bowie’s song Space Oddity
:joy:

Regarding the “Edit Chord” behavior, I agree it is an oddity. I looked up “Edit Chord” in the manual and pg. 35 mentions that it will take you to the Circle of Fifths page for a variety of editing options. So it is expected and explained, however I am finding myself staring at the screen trying to figure out this workflow for a while. Also, if the chord is in the main track and is out of view, say in position 1, and there are 10 chords, you have to scroll over to find it.

You picked a great artist and song too. One of my top 5 is David Bowie. I used to play that song on bass in my own band when I was studying bass.
