Motions Skip Block

Hello,

I enjoy skipping motions and experimenting with different variations, and I believe this is the main feature and benefit of Scaler, to be honest.

But, there is a huge problem: Even though I select “All”, at the moment I select a motion, it takes me to that motion’s category, I mean, doesn’t stay on the “All”. This prevents me from freely skipping and trying all motions. Instead, I need to manually go back to different category every time I reach the end of that category, but, I can not!!! As it is marked in gray. So, I have to create a new motion and therefore change the instrument for around 50 times if I want to explore all the motions in order to find the one most suitable for my song.

I recorded a video for you:

I made a ticket 3 months ago (SCLR-43353) and that lazy worker sent me here, although he is the one who’s getting paid, isn’t he? And I sent a ticket for “Feature Request”.

Hi @itamar2312 Welcome to the forum. Love to help you but please refrain from posting anything that one of users or team members may find insulting (in which words such as ‘lazy’ may be interpreted). That’s against our forum guidelines.
There are some technical hurdles to sharing motions on the one track as we treat each Motion differently in terms of available parameters. We are aware of them and also that as you mention it can speed workflows up. I personally just have three - four Motion tracks covering what I may need for a specific track and cycle through them that way (on their respective tracks). I then use a combination of muting and cutting to come to my final arrangement.
We are updating the Sketch Page in a forthcoming update that will help you do exactly what you are after.
Hope that helps.
