In Melody mode, how can I play the melody notes without the chords ?
I might be misunderstanding your question but you can mute and solo individual tracks on the arranger page and in the mixer.
So if, for example, you have the chords on the main track and the melody on another track just mute the main track
In the settings, there is an option to mute the key switches.

That’s in Scaler 2, but as far as I know that option doesn’t exist in Scaler 3, does it ?
Yeah, I turned it off myself the other day. It stops the chord sounding when you hit the key switch.

Click the cog in top right corner and it’s near the bottom somewhere. I’m away from pc so can’t send screenshot at the moment.
