Yes, it is in the record mode thing. I have gotten it to work erratically. I am not really sure which is the best way to set it up. Still playing…

Hi @lynnfield72 Yes you can. You have to push record button and then you choose Detect Midi and push red button. Here is 2 picture. [Midi Detect Chords 1] [Midi Detect Chords 2]

How to open mixer again after having piano roll opened?

I mainly use Scaler as a midi FX on tracks, with Scaler 2 you just pressed notes on the onscreen keyboard to set a chord, do you know if this is possible in Scaler 3? midi / audio detect and capture midi don’t work

If you are in the Arrange page looking at the MIDI Editor, there will be two large icons to the left of the vertical piano. MIDI Editor Mixer (grayed out) Click the ‘Mixer’ icon and the MIDI Editor will be replaced with the mixer.

Just open a fresh instance of Scaler 3 and go to the Create Tab and you should be on the Circle of Fifths page. Start entering notes on Scaler’s keyboard
