Major Performance Issues Using Circle of Fifths / Chord editing (Windows 11)

Hi Scaler Team,

I’m having issues with performance when playing, editing or accessing tabs when using Scaler 3 1.0.7 in standalone and using it in Ableton Live 12 as a VST3.

I’ve been experiencing these issues since 1.0.5. I don’t see any spikes in CPU usage while having Task Manager open but I can hear my PC’s fans revving up to higher speeds. After multiple clean installs the problem persists and feels like it happens at random. Once the slowdown occurs it’s over. After closing and reopening Ableton or the standalone it retains those issues and I have to restart in a new project file.

My PC stats:

Windows Version: Windows 11 Pro 23H2
CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i9-12900K 3.19 GHz
RAM: 32.0 GB (DDR4)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (16 GB VRAM)
