Dear forum members,
Apologies for newbie question.
I am seeking guidance on performing a specific operation in Ableton Live using Scaler 3. Specifically, I aim to play and record the notes of the chords bound to the keys in Scaler while using an Ableton instrument for sound output. However, I would like to disable the internal Scaler instrument so that only the ableton instrument is heard during playback and recording.
Despite my attempts, I have encountered challenges in setting up this workflow. I would greatly appreciate any advice, step-by-step instructions, or resources that could assist me in achieving this.
Thank you in advance for your support and expertise.

You just want to mute Scaler 3 and only hear the instrument you are sending too?
Two options
- To mute a track (including instruments) in Ableton Live, simply click the yellow “mute” button that appears on the track in the mixer section
- Go to Sounds / All in Scaler 3 and choose ‘No Instrument’
Thank you Davide. Much obliged
