How odd. I updated to V9 also, but Scaler does not find the .dll for this (even after a re-scan) and just continues to use V8.
I think you have to use the VST3 folder because Pianoteq 9 ist VST3 only
the “Pianoteq9.vst3” files is in an unusual place compared to the “Pianoteq Stage 8.vst3”
Pianoteq 8 Stage.vst3 is in C:\Program Files\Common files\VST3
Pianoteq 9.vst3 is in C:\Program Files\Common files\VST3\Pianoteq 9.vst3\Contens\x86_64-win
Pianoteq 8 Stage.dll is in C:\Program files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins
While Pianoteq9 does not have a .dll installed on my system
So I am sure the issues we are both reporting may be due to this and the way the files are installed? I will have to dig deeper to see what works and what does not.
I have not been able to have Scaler find the Pianoteq9.vst3 file. I can’t even find the file since that exact title is a Folder Title not a vst3 file. Reaper can find the file though, I don’t know where it found it. I’ll just have to wait to figure this one out.
Pianoteq 9.0.2 working fine here with Scaler 3.2.0 on both Windows 11 25H2 and macOS 26.1.
