I’m trying to make certain chords in to two beats rather than 4. I’ve seen the arrows that you are supposed to be able to drag in and out but nothing moves. Any help?
Hi @skiboyny,
I try to understand what are you trying to do. Is it resizing the chords (make is shorter or longer)?
If so, you can go to Arrange page and change default value (1 Bar) to 1/2 up to 1/16 and have finer distribution. Then you can resize the chords. See video below.
As you may see in the video, if you want to enlarge a chord that is surrounded by other chords, you need to move all the subsequent chords to the right and then enlarge the one you want.
Yes this is exactly it. In 4x4 I wanted to shrink a coupe of chords to 2 beats rather than 4. If the setting is on 1 bar, I can not shrink or expand any chords, changing it to half or below as you suggest does work. Is this correct?
As you may see in my video, at 1 Bar setting, no chords can be shrunk. The last one can be expanded, but only by 1 bar or multiples.
Changining to 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 or 1/16 you can shrink any chord or selection of chords, including the inner ones, by the selected size. To expand the inner chords, you need to move the following chords in order to make enough space for expansion. And as the shrinking makes empty spaces, to get rid of off them, you can “Select all” chords in the context menu (right click) then, also in the context menu, select “Remove empty spaces”.
Perfect! Thank you for your help.
