When you have a sequence of chords and you want to make one last longer, it would be helpful when resizing if the neighbouring chords shifted automatically to accommodate the resize.
Unless I’m missing something, I have to manually move the subsequent chords before stretching the first one to the size I want

Yep this is very important…
I think it’s either a bug or an oversight that you can only resize the last chord in a sequence. Even though you get the double-headed arrow on any chord, only the last one can be resized.
Just to clarify we are adding an ability to resize abutting chords (shorten one/lengthen) another is coming in a few weeks in 3.1 I agree this will improve editing chord length in Arrange immensely.
