In scaler 2 you get set the number of beats to a bar to say, 4, 8, 16. and the chord would automatically be that length. You cant do this in scaler 3, you have to move each chord along the track and manually adjust each length individually, this is hugely time consuming and quite painful to do (unless im missing something obvious)
and when you get to the very last chord, its impossible to adjust its length, it just shoots way off to the distance (greatly increasing the length) and if you try to adjust it back, it just snaps back to 1 bar ! I cant use this, I end up with 7 chords that are 8 bars each and the last one cant be adjusted. Can this be fixed as a matter of urgency ? Ive had to go back to scaler 2 in the meantime
I’ve had the same trouble, but it’s just the start of my frustrations.
I think the dev team has overreached trying to invent new UI standards. Instead, they merely abandoned standards and produced a mess.
What’s wrong with a menu system that gives you access to the software? Instead, there are buttons spread around which appear or disappear depending on the “mode” or page. And the pages all look the same without color or any differentiating qualities. Weren’t there promises of multiple color themes? Why doesn’t scaling allow the proportions to change for wider screens?
Try right clicking to open an object’s context menu. Nope. Not these guys. Setting? It’s only for midi and audio! Click to close those buttons, there’s no button to reopen them!
I’m planning to pitch this version in favor of S2 or nothing at all. Groundbreaking ideas aside, it isn’t necessary to throw out usability with the bathwater! C
I’m not sure what you are doing there but I can’t replicate that. Can you give me some steps to follow please to try and replicate.
EDIT got it! It’s a zoom issue, will get this adjusted for 3.1
