Same problem for me (I guess for anyone, really). Parted with my hard earned cash now it’s time to part with some of yours Scaler team.

Dropbox isn’t designed for this type of file distribution. If management will send me the installers I can make a torrent and also upload them to mediafire and mega and there will be no more bandwidth problems and no additional cost. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the new version, thanks!

The same problem is here, for the PC Installer…

Same here… like they should know how many pre orders they had and adjusted their drop box accordingly. kind of crazy to not be able to get it on launch day after paying for it a month in advance. So we just try every 24 hours until it slows down or has a solution been dropped?

100% using dropbox is wild! Very frustrating that on my ONE day off work where I wanted to dive into scaler 3, I can’t even download the thing. Paid for it, can’t access it. Unacceptable.

I’m getting the same problem. I posted mine here as well. Very frustrating. I pre-ordered, and can’t even download the thing I paid for. Ridiculous. Going through Dropbox of all places is an absolute disaster and a mistake.

Same here. So frustrating that they can’t handle a little traffic and use dropbox for high volume!

Same here, couldn’t believe that this is getting distributed via dropbox. The learn more page is useless as well.

Same deal here. Not entirely surprising given the presale hype and the initial rush but I’m surprised they weren’t prepared for this. Dropbox isn’t really built for mass distribution.

I was thinking why not have a google drive option and a third party option to keep the downloads afloat?

Just as in the main title I get a dropbox 429 error when trying to download Scaler

Anyone else facing download issues from the “my product” page. I’m getting a Dropbox link with a “Too Many Requests” and “Sorry, this link has been automatically turned off for now.”

Very frustrating as they can’t handle essential traffic for a product release? No mention on any of their FAQ pages.
