Tooltips not being saved to 'on' as defaults

SETTINGS → PREFERENCES → SHOWTOOLTIPS

SET TO ‘ON’, SAVE AS DEFAULTS, NOT SAVING, THEY ARE RESET WHEN SCALER IS RELOADED
