Strummed sequences not playing in Logic Pro from the DAW track chords

If playing chords from the DAW track (not from the internal chord track), using the strummed sequences has no audio output. It doesn’t matter if I am using the internal sounds or external sounds. It doesn’t matter if I am using Scaler as an instrument or as a midi effect in Logic.

I tried changing the octave in Logic in case it was just playing out of range. I also tried changing the voicing to guitar, drop 2 and others to see if it was out of range with that. No effect.

Looking at the keyboard in the plugin, it is playing the chords. If I cycle through to other motions, as soon as I get out of the strummed sequences, it starts working.

If I load up chords in the Scaler track, those will work. It is just the chords from the DAW track that will not play.

Current version of Logic Pro 11.2.2

Current version of Scaler 3.2

Hmm interesting @DavidK and even though this is not how Scaler 3 is intended to work we have made it adapt to MIDI input so it should work and as you correctly say Strummed Sequences are not responding here - we will investigate thanks for spotting it!

I would not have even come across it except that brought in some chords and went to preview the patterns to decide if I was going to do them in Scaler, use something else, or write something from scratch.

I switch back and forth between the DAW and MuseScore for things and right now, Scaler doesn’t really work in MuseScore so I really can’t test things there.
