As the title says. I’m on MacOS 15 Sequoia. The following is the case for Scaler 3:
- It does not show up as VST3 Instrument in Studio One 7, neither in Native nor Rosetta mode. Resetting Blacklist doesn’t help.
- It shows up as VST3 Effect in Studio One 7, though
- It shows up as VST Instrument/Effect in Studio One 7 Native/Rosetta
- It shows up as VST/VST3 Instrument/Effect in Studio One 6 Native/Rosetta
- It shows up as AU/VST/VST3 Instrument/Effect in Ableton 11 Native/Rosetta
- It shows up as VST/VST3 Instrument/Effect in Cubase Native/Rosetta
- It shows up as AU Instrument/Effect in Logic Native/Rosetta
EDIT: I found out by accident that the reason for Scaler 3 not showing up in Studio One 7 was that somehow it was set to „hidden“. I have not consciously set this preference, I don’t know how this happened, and I don’t know if the installation process somehow erroneously set this preference itself, for whatever quirky reason. All I know is that the plugin was set to hidden from the get go, and if this happens to you, here is how you can fix it:
- Click on the wrench icon on top of the plugin list in S1‘s Browser tab
- Scroll down to the Scaler 3 VST3 instance
- Click on the (grayed out) bullet point on the left of the plugin
- Voilà, your plugin is no longer hidden and can be used now!
I apologize if this has for some reason been my fault all along, but anyway I hope you find this helpful!
Cheers
Kim
