Scaler EQ is Frozen license

this crap doesn’t work at all it tells me it’s frozen and I’ve sent support tickets to Plugin boutique and no answer whatsoever and I sent a support ticket to scaler and they said they could do nothing because it was sold through plugin boutique when is their software… don’t purchase it as it will become frozen and you won’t get any support from either company is a useless vaporware. I will be asking for a full refund and I will never upgrade my scaler 3 to any future version as I can see they don’t care about their customers.

I am sorry that you experienced issues with your plugin.
As a user of Scaler and member of the Scaler Forum community I can understand that some users may be frustrated because of some issues. They are entitled to express their frustration in a constructive, and especially, in a civilized way. Harshness is absolutely not accepted and you were harsh, from the first to the last sentence.
If you have a complaint, you are entitled to explain the issue in a civilized manner.
The team addresses the problems fast and they are efficient in fixing issues.
And harshness is not a part of explanation.

I understand where you’re coming from but when i’ve tried ticket support for both plugin boutique and Scaler software and none has a response to fix it then it becomes personal as i have spent money and not have a product in hand. therefor i have to make noise in order to be listened to, otherwise they will rob other people of their money.

As the team watches all posts, they will respond you. I am not sure, but I believe most of them, if not all, live in Australia so we shall let them to spend a good night. In the morning Australian time, fresh and motivated they will start reading and answering the posts. I don’t know them personnaly, but I see they do excellent job.

I can imagine how you feel, but a few kind, but strict words can go further than just the noise. This is called “diplomacy”.

I don’t know if you live in the USA or not but as you can see diplomacy seems pretty dead but I digress… my fear is that I’ve been reading online that this has happened before with scaler 2 and I don’t see anyone saying that they got the support they needed in fact all I see is they never got support and they were ignored and this is the reason for the noise to get their attention to do something about it and fix it.

It definitely does not do yourself or your issue any favors to start off yelling at everyone.

Anyway, I can confirm the activation if purchased through Plugin Boutique is very poorly implemented, and even updates use up activations when they should not. The activation system is not having the intended purpose and needs an overhaul.

Is that what it is? activation limits? that also happened with Autotune and they got rid of that because of these same problems… ok so how do i get unlimited activations?

Hi @JuanCa . The frozen license message is related to Beatport Access which is a Plugin Boutique initiative, so the Scaler Music team is unfortunately unable to resolve this for you. If you have raised a support ticket with Plugin Boutique I’d say they will respond to you when possible.
