I just found by accident that in Scaler 3 the Keys Lock - Chord Notes feature produces less or even zero octave jumps if you use just the Main track, i.e. no Motions
I don’t know if it is a fortuituos case or the rule, so let me know
Hi Claudio, yes Chord Notes just features continuous notes across the keyboard. No Ocatve jumps!

Is this a new change? I downloaded a trial of an earlier version of Scaler 3 and the Keys Locks Chords notes would jump by two octaves. Or is it something to do with using a Main Track? (I’m not familiar with that track feature, I only know Scaler 3 from the trial, but I use Scaler 2). Great if new though.
Just to clarify. The ‘Chord Scales’ Keys Lock profile has zero octave jumps. Plays and scales across the keyboard as expected. Other profiles have been improved.
@ClaudioPorcellana Hm I just tried “Keys Lock - Chord Notes” using Main track in Scaler 3.3 and that behaves the same for me as previous versions with the two octave jumps. Your screenshot does look different than mine without the bindings. Not sure why I am coming up with a different result.
Try to unbind it then (another click on the yellow button), and let me know
But I tested the Keys Lock profile “Chord Notes” not “Chord Scales”…
@davide There is a difference between “Chord Scales” and “Chord Notes” when speaking about octave jumps?
Hm I unchecked the yellow button and that turns off the Keys Lock so you can’t change the chord notes but does still leave the last used chord notes active with the same result of jumping two octaves. When you use the keys that I used in my screenshot they don’t jump as much? Then 8 notes later there is another two octave jump.
Thank you, I love the Chord Scales feature (I own Scaler 3 on iPad now and have a current trial of Scaler 3.3 desktop). One thing I would love to see in the future is perhaps an option to also include Scaler 2’s Chord Notes behavior of where the keys/chord notes are more limited but the octaves only jump by one, and furthering that an option like Omnichords and similar instruments where the Chord Notes span 3-4 octaves with no octave jumps and a wide range (perhaps Chord Notes could have a default and submenu of the different choices).
