I just downloaded it and I encountered an issue from the start (Ipad Pro 9,7 - IpadOS 16.7.14)
On a fresh new session, when I press keys on the edges (ie C1 or G3) on the Ipad screen, the notes will keep playing forever after I remove my finger. Below, screenshot taken long after I remove my finger from the Ipad screen.
I’m having the exact same issue. Hopefully this gets fix soon. Temporary work around is to use an external midi keyboard. It seems to work as expected this way.
@davide you can get any note stuck by holding down a key and then tap another one multiple times until the first key is hanging when released. You can also do this with another one while the previos one keeps on hanging
@Bronko Yes we have found this too - particularly when the keyboard is at its lowest position for some reason. If you extend the keyboard to full height is seems to perform better?
Thanks for reporting and welcome to the community. We are getting this addressed ASAP. Hope to have an update on AppStore next week!
I’ve updated a couple of days ago but there’s another issue with the internal piano sounds pulsing when a note is held down using the iPad piano keyboard. The higher the note, the faster the pulsing. Other internal sounds seem ok as far as I can tell.
Hi,
Scaler 3 for Ipad updated this morning (version 3.2.2) and that much much better
Also, it seems that we can now open another app while Scaler is in the background still processing Midi events and playing sounds. I may be wrong but I think that was not possible with the first release. So now I can directly practice with Scaler using my Bluetooth keyboard and at the same time have my note sheet displayed on the Ipad. That’s great!
