Scaler 3 iPad A16 iOS 26.4 resizing chords

I don’t know if this is a bug or improvement request but I’m having trouble resizing chords. When I tap and hold, the chord keeps moving slightly so the resizing bars rarely appear. Perhaps a freeze chord/resize button? Grateful for any advice, thanks.

I find that a stylus is much easier to use as i was having the same problem. A bit fiddly with my fingers

I have the same problem. If you touch with another finger elsewhere, you can edit the chord (x2 or divide by 2) but it is not intuitive at all.

Hi @Museternal @samsam and welcome to the forum. I agree it’s a little tough not to move your finger and lose the resizing gesture. We have to distinguish between moving, playing and resizing a chord so it’s a fine balance. Maybe we add ‘Resize Chord’ to the contextual menu?

Another idea would be to have specific tool modes in addition to the scissor tool. So you could be in select, move or resize modes.

Thx for the follow up. It works a bit better in other apps. For instance in ChordBud2. Maybe a shift button?

Without shift –> move

With shift –> resize

Similarly, the slider below the chords is almost impossible to control…
