Scaler 3 Audio Detect sample rate issue with Logic Pro 11

Scaler 3 Audio Detect gives an error using Logic Pro 11.1.2 and Sequoia OS 15.4. regardless of whether it is on the Audio (guitar) track or capture from a separate Scaler track.

Crackling at the start followed by “some” chord detection followed by crash. Popup error message is: (Error while trying to synchronize audio and MIDI)

This was not an issue with Scaler 2. Bugs to be expected, Great program. Thank you.

Hi @ogradyboy (Error while trying to synchronize audio and MIDI) only relates to sample rate conflicts within Logic Pro. DO you have your sound card and sample rate in Logic configured correctly. And maybe the sample rate of the sample is causing issues? This doesn’t appear to be a bug but an issue in your setup. Try going to Project / Settings In Logic Pro and changing your sample rate.

Thank you for the fast reply. I thought Scaler just auto adjusts to the DAW? I have tried at 44 and 48kHz. I’m starting to think the input signal from the audio source is too hot for the Scaler settings. Sometimes it captures and other times not so much (with a crackling noise). In Scaler 2 I could use the slider to lower the audio input but I cannot seem to find how to do that in Scaler 3 -unless I try from the original audio source outside of Scaler 3

If there is a sound card in the Mac Mini I do not know. I use a Focusrite Scarlett Interface that auto adjusts the incoming audio signal before it hits Logic. Again, same hardware and software settings with Scaler 2. I am certain that I must be doing something wrong. Ha.
