Scaler 3 AND Logic Pro Issues

Just want to update the conversation here to say that with the help of the support team Scaler 3 is now installed on my M1 MacBook and functioning as hoped for. Thanks for the interest and support thus far. Thx, -steve

Every day new crashes happen with scaler 3 in logic pro 11.
In one template, created a few days ago and without any problem, a track with Scaler 3 opens without delay on its home window.
In a second one yesterday, I already had a track with Scaler 2 and tried to change it to place Scaler 3. No problem, except that the opening of the plugin runs continuously with no effect, impossible to open.
When I now try to open an empty project with Scaler 3, it crashes at first, then runs continuously in a vacuum. In the AU module manager, all Scaler 3 plugins are perfectly installed and validated in version 3.01.

Please update to Scaler 3 1.0.5 and perform a clean install if necessary. Also open a vanilla session in Logic (no template) and a new session of Scaler 3 and you won’t have any issues.

Instructions for a clean Install:

Mac - Clean Install:

  • Delete the standalone state file in this folder: /Users/[NAME]/Library/Application Support/Scaler 3.settings
  • Delete the personalised files in this folder: /Users/[NAME]/Library/Scaler Music/Scaler 3
  • Delete the shared user files in this folder: /Users/Shared/Scaler Music/Scaler 3
  • Reinstall.

PC - Clean Install:

  • Delete the standalone state file in this folder: C:\Users[NAME]\AppData\RoamingScaler 3.settings
  • Delete the personalised files in this folder: C:\ProgramData\Scaler Music\Scaler 3
  • Delete the shared user files in this folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Scaler Music\Scaler 3
  • Reinstall.

Users may also remove the actual plugin binary files for VST/VST3/AU/AAX. However if you reinstall with your DAWs closed, these should be overwritten when reinstalling.

The installation on macOS 15.4.1, with the prerequisites for deleting preferences (having previously saved the “ChordsSets” folder of “USER/Library/Scaler Music/Scaler 3/” on my desktop and having put it back in place after the update), went very well, the standalone application opens and runs perfectly, the “ChordSets” user are there. The Strumming test, in the “Articulations” tab on a piano or guitar sound does not cut before the end, on the other hand in the midi control version “Scaler 3 Control” within Logic X still does not give the expected result, the sound is always cut before the end (kind of note off) contrary to the same function within Scaler 2.
