Nice thank you! Looking forward to trying out time signatures other than 4/4.

Look at the Scaler team go :slightly_smiling_face: :sign_of_the_horns: :fire:

A post was merged into an existing topic: minimize movement / chords cut off in suggest mode

when opening scaler standalone, chords are not playable even though they are bound. Then i have to unbind them and bind them again, then t works. this was a bug that was already fixed back in betas. Now it’s back…since previous version…and i was hopping this update will fix it…
version before the previous version crashed cubase when opening a project with spectrasonics keyscape loaded into scaler. Previous version introduced old Binding bug and the bug is still present in the new 3.1.1…really frustrated with this software. win11
Also while I’m at itXD..I know it’s too late for this but the sharp edged scaler corners kinda look cheap, unfinished, It would be better if it had rounded corners like the whole scaler UI is rounded and like all other windows 11 corners are rounded.

Clocking in at around 1.5 GB — yikes! Even my gigabit broadband says well over an hour to download (I assume the servers are busy?)

Is it time to separate app from data? I assume a lot of this is samples?

After installing it still does not show 3.1.1

Thanks - is it recommended that we uninstall the previous version first?

For some bizarre reason, I tried it a couple of hours later and it came up with the new version. Seem’s like MacOS spotlight finder was still pointing to the old version somehow? Seems very odd.

I installed the new version 3.1.1 It worked fine for a couple of days, but now when i open as standalone it freezes (win 11) showing the hour glass, when I close it I get the “stopped responding” error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Opening as vst in Ableton Live is fine.

Hello @TimB ,
Can you copy/paste the error from Event Viewer, please?
Also, you can try a recipe that often worked on crashing standalone: delete file: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Scaler 3\Scaler 3.settings

Thanks, deleting that settings file did the trick.
