See attached video.
I might be doing something wrong, but sometimes it is ok and other times, just pulling a chord to make it longer, it just takes off way over to the right. I tried setting the bars to 1/8, 1/16 etc. but that didn’t seem to help. Not a big issue, more annoying than anything LOL.
Scaler Extend chords speed
Yep… i have made kilometers long chord progressions… i will switch to ambient music maybe…
I have experienced this also.
- Sometimes if I grab & move VERY SLOWLY, I can get it to work
- Another solution appears to be: save your work (save STATE in standalone or save session in your DAW) - then close & restart & try again.
No. Always carry fast.
This happens if it is the last chord in the progression. If it is in the middle and there is an open space, it works properly. Really annoying if you’re trying to make the last chord longer.
There are famous blues songs that use 1 chord only
Hi All,
I felt in that trap too and after some pathetic attempts and very rude words, my brain showed me a temporary fallback procedure until a real fix is provided by the Team.
In the Arrange page, before resizing the last long chord, add a normal simple chord (for exemple 24 bars after your last chord) and mute it by Shift-Cliking on it. Then, you can now resize what used to be your last chord using the extra space created with no crazy shift anymore.
Dumb I know…
Obviously, you can remove the additional chord when cleaning the room.
Cheers
Berthy
as I said in another post, using S3 for me is like entering a labyrinth:
you know that the useful stuff is somewhere, but there are no clues about the path to follow to find them
and like a labyrinth, if you follow the wrong path you are stuck in a cage and the only solution is coming back, if you didn’t forget to leave breadcrumbs behind you
