Quick chord entry mode in the main track (textual mode)

Since I’m quite familiar with harmony and chord progressions, I almost exclusively use Scaler 3’s Arrangement window to generate various motion graphics.

Basically, my workflow is as follows:

  1. I enter the chord chart as quickly as possible, avoiding the chord entry assistants that waste my time.
  2. I generate motion graphics from the Arranger window.
  3. I export the motion graphics to my DAW.

Since I find it too time-consuming to type the chord chart in Scaler 3, I bypass all the assistants and retrieve the chart from BIAB, importing it as MIDI into Scaler.

This works, but I’d like to have functions to quickly add and edit chords in the main track, without having to use the creation window:

Entering chords as text directly into the main track (currently, the best way I’ve found is to go to the Creation window, search, and then drag and drop a chord from the top…).
Extending a chord in the main track without overwriting the next one (currently, the best way I’ve found is to add a new chord…).

In short, I’d like a simplified mode for editing the main track (ideally directly from the arrangement window), without using the wizards.

If such a simplified mode exists, I’d appreciate any information.

If not, please consider this feature in a future version
