Preset Favourites Not Saved via Favourites Button on Header

For me, Favourites selected (click on the heart icon) in the Preset Browser do not get saved. They do get saved if you Favourite them from the “Main Presets” page that opens from the Browser.
Using Cakewalk by Bandlab Sonar, current version, Windows 10 Pro, GeForce RTX 3060

Here I tried to Favourite “Cafe Hallucinations”. Clicked on the heart icon and it turned white (as expected), but “Cafe Hallucinations” does not then appear in the Favourites list. All I see is the
“Template - Nice Strings” that I chose as a Favourite from the “Main Presets” page (by clicking on the heart icon).

Scaler3FavouritesBug

Hi @SalSorice, thanks for taking the time to report this and share the video. We’ve logged the issue with the dev team and added it to the list of known issues. Cheers.

Hi All and the Team,

I may have found a minor inconsistency in the Template liking feature.

When “liking” a preset from a included Templates (say Chill Arrangement) in the Preset field of the Top bar of Scaler 3 (v1.0.3.9df5f41 - stand alone - MacOs), the highlighted heart in the top bar is not propagated to the Main Preset Template list and the liked template would not show is the Favourites Tab neither.
However, if you select a not-liked template in the list and then select again the liked template, the Heart icon will be highlighted in the Top Bar.

If a template is “liked” within the Template List this time, the Preset will then appears in the Favourites Tab but when loaded after clicking on it, the Heart in the Top bar is not highlighted.

Talking about, Template… : I also noted that in the “Time is waiting” template, there is a exclamation mark in Audio FX of Master, probably due to a missing external audio FX (EQ ?).

Thanks again for Scaler 3, the more I use it the more I like it
Please feel encouraged by happy users and all the positive spirit of people trying to help (while applying a low pass filter on the few toxic comments).

Cheers
Christophe aka Berthy
