No way to apply extracting voicings using Right Click Function

Paste or Apply Extracted Voicings tab doesn’t appear on Right click when hovering over a chord to which you want to apply the extracted voicing. Can someone point me in the right direction to be able to do this task? Is there a new method of doing this in Scaler 3?

I can see a way to do it as a Voice Grouping applying it universally but not as a way to apply it to selected chords which may exclude others. ( was previously under Right Mouse Click in Scaler 2 -Apply Extracted Voicing)

Steve

As far as I can see, Paste Voicing with a right mouse-click is missing for individual chords in Scaler 3. That missing functionality a major workflow disruption.

But looking at this topic again, it is not a bug in the software. Should I repost the question in the general discussion?

Yes i know but I haven’t had a response yet. It’s not a bug It’s a missing function. Please can we have it back?

Hello I can’t find a way to apply extracted voicings to individual chords because it doesn’t appear with the ‘Right Click Function’. I did put the topic in ’ Bugs Category ’ some time ago but no replies yet.

same problem here!
In another post Davide says instead of ‘apply’ voicing you have ‘extracted’ but both are missing.

Hi folks. We combined these posts as they seem to be asking the same question. Currently the only way to apply extracted voicings is though the voice grouping menu, which will apply to all chords/clips on a particular track.

Applying voicings to individual chords via the right click menu is still a planned feature, however there is no ETA at this point. The upcoming 1.0.6 and 3.1 updates are focussing on the important fixes and additions as noted on the pages linked below, after which the focus will shift to these sorts of features, in addition to any additional necessary fixes and improvements.
