I cannot find any information on the upgrade for Scaler3 for existing users.
I purchased Scaler1, then v2 through Plugin Boutique (which by the way SUCKS). They do not respond to any messages and I have to use a different browser to login, as the site is not compatible with FIREFOX. On the products list, the latest Scaler version is v2.9.1
Is Scaler3 upgrade free OR paid ? Why I cannot see the latest version through PB ?

How to register Scaler 3:
Davide published the solution which stands: "The code you get at PIB is a redeem code you use to register and receive your serial number over at Scaler Music. Please follow the installation instructions in your plugin boutique account.”
You can also use the forum search box to search for “register scaler 3” and you will see several posts.
I went through your suggestions and steps and it is unnecessarily overcomplicated.
Of course you seem to care only about collecting $$$, not the user or the process.
Made a payment and still could not download the software. No info of any kind. PB product DOWNLOAD link directs me to another site. I created new account, still nothing !

Perhaps you people know how to create plugins, but you certainly do not know how to sell products or reliable business online. It was my bad decision to continue with Scaler.
BTW. Plugin Boutique site is terribly slow

You have the right to be frustrated, but harshness is not the way to communicate with other users and nobody wants it on this forum.
Plugin Boutique uses, more or less, the same downloading process for all plugins they distribute.
Coming to your problems – I am sorry that your experience was not as smooth as expected. But this cannot be the reason to use very harsh expressions to explain that this did not work as you wanted.
A site that hosts thousands of plugins cannot be as simple as the one that sells only a couple of their own products.
BTW, did you read my complete post, including Davide’s instructions?
If you think that the team behind Scaler 3 does not care about users, do you believe they would sell an upgrade, and a big one, for only 29$? Did you notice that the team reacts quickly to all the issues and, very often, quickly publishes the new releases, not only fixes, but also the new features that the users requested.
I hope that you understand now that Scaler, its developers and distributors care about their users. If you need more assistance, feel free to search on the forum or to post questions.
I assume that the fact that you can now also buy Scaler 3 through their own website (scalermusic) as well as from Plugin Boutique is a recognition that PB is not always a happy experience for users. It certainly wasn’t for me. Unfortunately upgrades from S2 to S3 currently have to be through PB. I’m hoping they will find a way to move S2 registrations across to Scaler Music and allow upgrades from there but there have been no indications of that happening thus far.
Buying stuff from Plugin Boutique is fine until it’s not fine and then you find out how dreadful their customer service is and how they really don’t give a stuff about you once they have your money.
