I’ve been working on progressions for all of december, and now my whole project freezes when I open it. After some troubleshooting, I came to the conclusion that scaler 3 was the reason (opened the project in plugin-safe-mode, removed scaler 3 → no freezing anymore).
BUT my current session in scaler 3 is gone. Great.
Is there a way to safe the session? I am already trying for the past 3 hours (with help from chatgpt) and I’m so frustrated … editing xml files and whatnot. But I can’t do it …

What version of Scaler 3 are you on (please ensure you have 3.2).
Machine / OS?
Did you have any third party plugins loaded within Scaler 3?
What were you doing in Scaler 3?
Have you tried a new session in Ableton, no plugins within Scaler 3 and is that ok?

Runnning on Windows with Ableton 12.2.6 and Scaler 3.2.0. Keyscape was loaded into Scaler. And I think it happend when I left the Ableton project open while leaving my pc on power-saving-mode (of course I saved the project before leaving it that way). Can’t quite remember what was happening on Scaler, I believe I played around in the sketches.
I wasn’t able to do anything on Scaler while it froze, couldn’t open the window.
I have now accepted that my work is gone, so I’m fine now, but still … this is really frustrating. Maybe I should’ve saved all the sketches in a seperate midi file, not leaving everything within the plugin …
