Saving Scaler 3 state session

Hi dear,
We all know that Scaler 3 is not completely stable application yet. While working on some progressions, the application suddenly closes, and all work is lost.
So now, it has become a habit to constantly save the session state in the standalone application (Scaler 3).
What I noticed is that the Scaler 3 plugin does not have a menu to save or open the session state.
Please, could you add that in future versions?
Thanks,
Silver.

To save the plugin state just save the whole DAW project.

@boingy, thanks for your comment. But you see, you maybe able to save in the DAW, but if you work in an standalone project and you want to open into the scaler-plugin you don’t have a direct way to do it, also any modification as plugin you can transfer into state session. However you can save your current state session as a preset and open into the plugin and save it back.

I agree. Started a project in Standalone, but can’t import it into my DAW.

Hi folks. Saving presets in Scaler 3 has effectively replaced the concept of saving states files in Scaler 2. If working in Scaler 3 standalone you can save your work as a preset, then open that preset from Scaler 3 as a plugin in your DAW to continue, or vice versa.

Can you please explain the steps as it’s not obvious to me.

@Daren no problem. Scaler 3 presets can be saved or recalled when running Scaler 3 either standalone or as a plugin making it easy to continue work across platforms.

You can click on the save icon next to the current preset name to save the current state as a preset file. This preset can be recalled later in a new Scaler instance by clicking the name of the current preset to open the preset browser.

Thanks a lot Tristan. I needed to know how to save a session in Stand-Alone!
