It would be a question for Melodyne experts. I just started using the trial version of Melodyne. However, the question arose, is it possible to convert to midi notes with the program?

yes. go to file - export and then select midi.

not all versions support it

Not sure about support in various Melodyne versions or support in various DAWs: In Studio One, you can drag from your “Melodyned” track onto a new (midi) instrument track. That pulls the midi into that new track.

I reckon this same workflow also applies to other DAWs that have ARA implemented.
