I think another iteration of Scaler that would be helpful is when a user starts with a lyric’s or song’s melody and wants to fit a variety of appropriate chord sequence options underneath that melody. Right now, Scaler 3 is great for creating great-sounding chord progressions. But, what if the artist wanted to start with a melody? What if the next version of Scaler could create several chord progression options that fit underneath that melody that match a mood or genre? Now, you’d have both creative directions covered! Could this be an idea for Scaler 4?
I second this because I always start with melody and it’s not always easy. I would leave to the team to find the best way to do something like this.
Lots of discussions and roadmap directions in this area for Scaler Music. For now I like these two examples of how Scaler 1/2/3 was always intended for exactly this purpose with an onus on the user to explore. Here’s a short and long video in these areas!
I do something similar. My problems is that as a self-thaught guitarist, I have absolutely no knowledge of notes and use only my ears to compose, play and improvize. And audio detection in Scaler 3 is not perfect, but the same is valid for any other application I tried.
But you gave me and idea, Davide. I should simplify my solos to detect before adding the accompaniment. Then, maybe, detection would work much better. But then, my playing will struggle 
Once the accompaniment done, I might add all I want to the solo. This is one possibility until something more clever than my workflow comes in one of the future versions of Scaler.
All good @Miki Scaler has always been that ‘hand made’ creative tool, but in the modern age we expect more. We have some significant ambitions in this area and are on the way to some cool technology in Scaler.
