I am using a Mac Studio M1 with Sequoia 15.3.2. When using Scaler 3 as an instrument in Logic Pro 11.1.2, Logic crashes when I attempt to highlight chords in the arrange view. I can highlight the chords on the main track without any issues. But not in the arrange page, which means I cannot use the midi editor.
Hi @lorila Please ensure you have installed the most recent version, Scaler 3 1.0.5. Restart your machine after install. If you are still having any issues you may want to consider a clean install.
Instructions for a clean Install:
Mac - Clean Install:
- Delete the standalone state file in this folder: /Users/[NAME]/Library/Application Support/Scaler 3.settings
- Delete the personalised files in this folder: /Users/[NAME]/Library/Scaler Music/Scaler 3
- Delete the shared user files in this folder: /Users/Shared/Scaler Music/Scaler 3
- Reinstall.
PC - Clean Install:
- Delete the standalone state file in this folder: C:\Users[NAME]\AppData\RoamingScaler 3.settings
- Delete the personalised files in this folder: C:\ProgramData\Scaler Music\Scaler 3
- Delete the shared user files in this folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Scaler Music\Scaler 3
- Reinstall.
Users may also remove the actual plugin binary files for VST/VST3/AU/AAX. However if you reinstall with your DAWs closed, these should be overwritten when reinstalling.
Thank you. I’ll let you know how it goes.
